Problems and challenges
The Gift3R mobile app is an intermediate which helps users to claim gifts. Sometimes, if user redeem a code from an unsupported device,giftcard, balance will be added, but the reward will not be added to the user’s account. Therefore, client wished to be developed the platfarm which support mobile device quickly without any delay so that user can use this app without any ishurdle. Secondly, the merchant able to get paid through Stripe over 24/48 hours and brokers want to keep theirFees.This Gift Card app won't receive or keep the money for the business. Business should get paid right away or within 24 or 36 hours after payment.The client’s main requirement was:
- The user should be able to download the app, search for a place in their city or zip code and be able to touch the desire restaurant or business location.
- The user will be able to view a list of all the available stores that offer a giftcard. Each store listing will include the store name and store logo, Zip code.
- Business should be able to sign up with their Stripe/Bank accounts in order to receive the payment from the user through Stripe.
- All the stores must have the same giftcard amounts.
- During the purchase process the user will have the option either to purchase the giftcard for them, or send it to a friend.
- All giftcards purchased from the same store will appear individually with their total amounts each Giftcard.
How it Works?
User Panel
- User Registration:Here user can login/sign-up
- Browse locations /offers:The user will go to the particular restaurant and hang over his/her phone to the restaurant manager/employee of the restaurant to redeem the coupon/Giftcard. The user will be able to filter stores' by category and by city. After tap on giftcars, user can see its detail.
- A user has options to buy or forward the giftcards.A user can buy the giftcard through Stripe or Paypal or Apple Epay.
- My Gfcards:Hereuser can check his/her giftcards, its expiry date etc.
- Redeem points:The user will be able to redeem the giftcard in-store by tapping the “Redeem” button or the restaurants manager can help him.
Merchant Panel
A dashboard will create for merchants to log-in and see the Gift Cards they sold, they are able to see the Balances from the customers that came in and redeemed their Gift Cards.
- Login Credentials: shared by Admin
- View/Manage Settings: Merchant can view and change the setting according to their requirements.
- Profile: Create profile
- Change password: Merchange can change the password if forgets
- Delete an account: Account can be deleted if it is not required anymore
- Push Notification/Alerts: Send notification to its users
- View Purchased Gift card details: Can view all the details of the giftcards
- View Redeemed Gift card details: Can redeem gift points
Web Admin Portal
The Admin will be the owner of the app. Admin will enter into the system through the web based admin panel and will be able to perform the following tasks,
- View and manage users Admin can view the users in a list, add/edit/block users and open users to view their information.
- View and manage merchants: Admin can view the merchant in a list, create and disable the merchant and can view merchant’s information.Admin can also view merchant name. logo,phone,email, website, available giftcards and their status. Admin can also report the merchant.
